Government procurement frameworks

Procurement frameworks make it cheaper and faster for public sector organisations to buy the goods and services they need. Our thin-prime model allows us to supply our partners’ services and products on frameworks.

Frameworks are our business. We have been a supplier on numerous frameworks for over 18 years, and are currently a supplier on almost 20 public sector procurement frameworks from Crown Commercial Service (CCS) and various NHS framework providers. We use our expertise in public sector procurement to ensure that we can be suppliers on the most important IT and consultancy frameworks. In turn, this allows our partners to bid with us in order to win public sector contracts. What are procurement frameworks?

Public sector procurement frameworks (also known as government procurement frameworks or government framework agreements) are a contractual mechanism to reduce the cost, and increase the quality, of procurement for organisations in central and local government, the NHS, emergency services, education, MoD, and other parts of the public sector.

When a provider launches a new government procurement framework, it will run a process, during which aspiring suppliers bid to be on the framework. Once the framework has opened for business, with a fixed list of suppliers, it will typically run for a fixed period.

Customers seeking to buy a product or service via a government framework agreement can select a supplier either via a competitive process or directly award the contract to a chosen supplier.
